Objective:
Create a branded shopping experience for over 400 brands on Nordstrom.com.
Unique challenges:
Create templates that were flexible enough to satisfy both our vendors and customers.
Utilize the site’s current dynamic capabilities and existing content management system.
Solution:
As seen here with the Calvin Klein Cosmetics brand boutique, three HTML templates—splash, category and product page—were created to showcase brands with significant product offerings on Nordstrom.com.
Our standard category page with a custom branded header was developed for brands with smaller offerings.
To keep maintenance time to a minimum, a streamlined process was developed for generating new boutiques and making updates to existing ones.
